Nandu's Story

Nandu's story began in the middle of a brutal street dog fight — the kind of encounter that ends in tragedy for most strays. He was outnumbered and outfought, and by the time our team reached him, his ear had been torn apart beyond saving.

The injury was so severe that vets had no choice but to operate and surgically remove what remained of his damaged ear. It was a painful, delicate procedure, but it was the only way to stop the infection from spreading and save his life.

Nandu came out of surgery weak, scared, and forever changed — but alive. He is now recovering under close medical supervision, learning to trust people again after everything he's been through.
