Billo is a Pit Bull. Like many dogs of his breed, he was often judged before people got to know him. When he first came into our care, he was distant, fearful, and uncomfortable around people. Human touch was something he avoided, and trust seemed impossible.

But healing is not always about medicine.

Day by day, with patience, kindness, and consistency, Billo slowly began to open his heart. The fear started to fade. The walls he had built around himself began to come down.

Today, Billo is a completely different dog. The same dog who once refused human contact now seeks comfort, affection, and connection. The image you see here captures a beautiful moment of trust — a reminder that behind every label is a living soul capable of love.
